All clients are required to sign a Consulting Agreement outside of this policy page. A few of the Consulting Agreement top line items follow below.
Hourly Rate
Wild Dingo’s hourly rate is $75-$100 per hour. The sliding rate is based on line items: administrative, less strategic line items are lower and strategic or high-end design and production are higher.
Basic Web Site Consultation Policy
A one-hour free consultation is available for all new clients. Any work, consultation, e-mails or calls are subject to a General Consulting Agreement and then billed at $75/hour. This does not apply to fixed project bids.
First-Come-First-Serve
All projects will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. Clients can request a premium service turn around of 24-48 hours can via a rush fee of an additional 60% ($120/hour).
NEW 2009: Minimum New Project/New Client Services
A minimum fee for all new projects or work requested on existing Web sites is $600 (8 hours). The fee covers ramping up time for Wild Dingo to become familiar with your Web site project, requirements and investigate how to provide services.
Payment Policy
The payment policy for all clients is Net 15 days. A 2% monthly service charge accrues for any payments received 30 days after the date of the invoice. This policy holds for all clients unless stated under other contractual terms.
Fixed-Priced Projects
All projects contracted under a fixed-bid project will be billed in two or three payments. These invoices are subject to the payment policy above of Net 15 days and will incur a 2% monthly service charge for any invoice not paid within 30 days after the date of the invoice.
Hourly-Based Services
A retainer is not required to maintain your Web site, however Wild Dingo does not provide 24-48 hour turn-around on your Web maintenance or hourly-based projects. Please plan your projects and Web maintenance in advance.
Rush Fees
Any client who is not on retainer and requires Web maintenance work or a project in 24-48 hour turn-around time, will be subject to an additional 60% hourly rate charge (or $120/hour). Rush fees include work that is required outside of normal business hours, Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5PM, or requiring premium rush services.
Referral Policy
Wild Dingo would like to thank you for your referrals! Clients who refer a new customer to me will enjoy a 5% discount on their next project. Colleagues who refer a new client will receive a 5% project referral fee.
Reseller Policy
If you’d like to leverage Wild Dingo services as a subcontracted item to your larger project (for example, design, copywriting or programming), resellers receive a 20% discount on the hourly rate of $75/hour.
Web Hosting, Domain Registration and Related Procurement
Wild Dingo does not procure Web Hosting or domain registration for clients. However, Wild Dingo will recommend Web hosts, Domain Registrars and other Web services that are required for a project. The client is responsible for procuring those services directly. Wild Dingo will provide technical assistance or assist the client with procuring Web services at Wild Dingo’s normal hourly rate or as a line item in a fixed-bid project.
Liabilities
Wild Dingo can help secure Web site hosting services for you, however Wild Dingo is not liable for a Web Host provider’s service satisfaction. All technical assistance required for Web hosting, domain registration or other web services, is billed at the hourly rate.
Wild Dingo is in no way responsible or liable for any of your Web site content. All content liability ultimately lies with you (the client).
All of Wild Dingo’s creative design and content are copyright by Wild Dingo and no other party. Wild Dingo does not provide design or content that is rights protected unless rights have been secured (such as purchasing rights protected photography or artwork). Wild Dingo will not provide work that is protected by Intellectual Property rights.
Wild Dingo is not responsible for any content you provide for publishing to your Web site that is protected by Intellectual Property. That is, if you supply Wild Dingo with content that is copyright protected and stolen, you are the legally responsible party. When it comes to using content that is protected IP, just don’t do it.
