How Do I Get Started or Get an Estimate?
That’s easy. Just fill out the Request an Estimate form. This form can help me just give you a quick, informal ballpark figure, or it can serve as jump start to a one hour consultation that will lead to a formal estimate.
I don’t have a domain name or Web Host. Can you help me find one and buy it for me?
Wild Dingo is not a Web host reseller or domain reseller. The resale value of a Web host or domain name is less than the price of a Starbucks latte. However, Wild Dingo can help procure a doman name and Web host, however Wild Dingo will not procure on your behalf. You will have to supply a payment method or credit card directly to the registrar or Web host. The benefit is that you wholly own your Web site and domain name.
How long will all of this take?
Good question! If I had an easy answer, I’d be able to pop these babies out daily. But in truth, it depends on so many things: what your site requires and how long each review/approval process for each stage is. I try to provide a rough schedule and stick to it, but like everything else, it fluctuates with the project flow. For more on how this works, please read Wild Dingo’s Web Site Process.
How much is this going to cost me?
Again, this depends on what you require. The simpler your site, the least expensive it is. The more bells-and-whistles that you need: Flash animation, JavaScript, forms, e-commerce/shopping carts, calendars, blogs and more all add to the time and cost of the project. When first considering your Web site, put together your wish list and sort by “must have” and “like to have.” This will help in developing the proposal and refining an estimate if necessary.
Please note, all new projects require a minimum fee of $600 or 8 hours. This covers all the ramp up time needed to do even the easiest task for a site I’ve never even looked at.
Can I just ask you a few questions, have you review my Web site and request some advice?
Absolutely! Wild Dingo offers a Web Site review for the minimum project fee of $600. For that, you can get specific questions answered, plus a competivive analysis based on Search Engine Optimization and Design interface, copywriting and more.
So why are Web sites so expensive anyway?
The short answer is this: you try it then get back to me. The long answer: there’s a lot that goes into a Web site including:
- Planning
- Design
- Content
- Programming
- Search Engine Marketing
Each one of these components adds to the success of your Web site objectives and each one builds on each other. Each one of these phases takes time, careful thought and experience to lead you to success with your Web site objectives.
