What’s with the Name Wild Dingo?

| Maggie sported many disguises to keep paparazzi at bay. |
Wild Dingo was founded by a dingo, Maggie Starling, searching for a means to reach her own desires: more walks, more bones and more attention. It didn’t take her long to understand that a home-based business would provide her just what she needed, so she convinced me to start this one. Maggie proved to be the perfect leader for a small organization —she was officious, demanded unreasonable requests and barked daily orders.
Her daily responsibilities included lounging, patrolling the territory for unusual individuals and adventures with her employee. Maggie was an avid adventure enthusiast, enjoying long daily walks, duck/cat/squirrel/skunk-chasing, kayak rides and trips to the pet store. She prided herself on agility and her own moral code. Anybody lucky enough to have met or known Maggie was well aware of where they stood with her. Maggie often claimed, “I’m not evil. I’m just misunderstood!”
Maggie had a co-founder and conspirator for office off-sites, Moosh, the friendliest but bravest labrador one could ever know. He served as Wild Dingo’s customer service representative who greeted people with his wagging tail and “fragrant” (not!) breath.
Unexpectedly, Wild Dingo became a daily lesson in achieving happiness (at least from a dingo’s perspective). Oddly enough, Maggie’s life lessons translated well for people too. Although Maggie is no longer with us, her legacy and particular business policies live on in her company, Wild Dingo. Read the real story about how Wild Dingo began and about Maggie’s legacy.
